A symbolic story about a little boy obsessed with shoelaces since he can’t seem to learn how to tie them, and only wears Velcro shoes, no matter how much older he gets. Baffled by ties and laces, he keeps his gaze lowered, looking at other people’s shoes, thinking about the knots he sometimes feels in his stomach. And one day, everything he feels gets a name and thus he is able to better understand it, and he is no longer baffled, and he no longer needs to look at the ground. He looks at the sky, and he can finally tie his shoelaces!
