A simple story about a stray cat that appears out of nowhere and finds his place not only in the heart of the boy who adopts him, but also in the hearts of everyone in the neighbourhood, as he visits them when they’re engaged in lonely tasks – like the author in her solitary room, the elderly widow in her chair, the student in his study etc. A poetic book with dreamlike illustrations about the friendship and kindness of animals that can change lives.
