Inspired by a comment his children made one night at bedtime, who saw a shadow that resembled ‘​a hat-wearing monster’ and then proceeded to make up a story with him, based on the shadows in the room, until they fell asleep, Achilleas Razis created a silent book showing a boy observing light and shadow, at times scared, at others playful, always with his imagination running free. A beautiful, symbolic book encouraging children to used their imagination and also to face their fears.
